It is highly recommended to simmer or steam the vegetables rather than boiling it so that you can get the best results. Do include vegetables in your breakfast, lunch as well as dinner.

When you are on detox diet then you must exclude sugary and carbonated drinks. Also exclude caffeine and alcohol during your detox diet program and replace the liquid intake with water, fresh fruit juices and herbal tea but remember not to add sugar.

Also include grains as well as rice but make sure to opt for unrefined or unpolished rice and grains.

You must be little choosy about oils and spices e.g. use sunflower and olive for stir frying and for adding in dressing of salads. Use of chemical free and natural condiments and herbs are allowed for cooking when you are on detox diet.
